Using open top containers

An open-top container is a special container that is characterized by the fact that it does not have a fixed roof and is instead protected by a soft-top cover (tarpaulin or mesh cover) or by a hard-top roof made of solid steel.

Reinforced roof frame and sturdy side panels
Wide opening at the top of the container for easier loading and unloading
Transport of bulky goods such as machines, pipes or wood which, due to their size, do not fit through the normal container opening

Soft-top container

The 20-foot soft-top container has an extremely durable tarpaulin. The tarpaulin is water-repellent and protects the goods from rain and dirt. With Soft Top, 20-foot open-top sea containers have an empty weight of approx. 2,250 kg and a volume of 32.5 m³.

Hard-top container

20-foot open-top shipping containers have an empty weight of approx. 2,400 kg with a hard top. Hard-top containers are easy to load via crane. In addition, you benefit from all the benefits of a closed standard container.
