The 40-foot container, also known as FEU (Forty Foot Equivalent Unit), is one of the standard shipping containers and, due to its enormous capacity, offers a wide range of uses as a transport container, workshop container and storage container. Originally developed for international transport of goods on the high seas, the 40-foot container is now used in various industries.
Have you already recognized the advantages of this “giant” and would like to use it as a construction container, tiny house, archive, tire warehouse, garage or workshop? There are almost no limits to your creativity.
The swing doors of the 40-foot container are equipped with locking bars and a lockbox security system to ensure theft-proof storage of your goods. The lockbox offers space for a special lock, which is significantly more resistant than conventional padlocks. The container has hardwood flooring as standard, which can optionally be replaced by a steel floor.
The size and weight of our containers comply with ISO standards. All shipping containers have been tested, regardless of whether they are new or used. If you have special requirements in terms of color or equipment, we will be happy to assist you in configuring your individual container of choice. The high cube version offers an additional 30 cm of height and is particularly suitable as a storage room.
